When We Are Ready

When we are ready, it’s waiting, the next layer to be peeled.
When we are set, it is waiting, the next step to be revealed.
When we’re prepared, it is waiting, the next lesson to be learned.
When we are set, it is waiting, the next level to be earned.
God is in no hurry. He waits with patience we can’t perceive.
He hands it out in doses we can process and receive.
When we are ready, it’s waiting, the next insight to be gained.
When we are set, it is waiting, the next answer to be explained.
When we’re prepared, it is waiting, the next beacon to be showed.
When we are set, it is waiting, the next gift to be bestowed.
The way in which God doles it out helps us accept and know;
His Will and His special plan for His child He loves below.
