How do you know truth when heard upon your ear?
How do you know truth with all that’s told down here?
If it’s from God, it’s wrapped in love, not shame, or guilt, or wrath.
If it’s from God, it’s paved in love to illuminate His path.
How do you see truth when it looks you in the eye?
How do you see truth from that which is a lie?
If it’s from God, it’s steeped in love, not judgment, fear, or shame.
If it’s from God, it shines in love to illuminate His name.
How do you feel truth that rests upon your heart?
How do you feel truth He hungers to impart?
If it’s from God, it comes from love. There is no other place.
If it’s from God, it glows in love to illuminate His grace.
