Shepherd Me

Updated: Jan 29

“I and my father are one.”  You know every thought and feeling.

Shepherd me with your love to the place of freedom and healing.

Show me when to take action.  Direct me to South or to West.

Comfort me in contentment when I need to let go and rest.

No fear.  No fear.  Take over here.  Dear God, please guide me through.

Bigger than me.  Bigger than me.  Dear God, but not for you.

“I and my father are one.”  You know every smile and tear.

Shepherd me with your love to the place where my dreams appear.

Show me when to take action.  Direct me to East or to North.

Reveal how simply “being” can move mountains, part seas, and call forth.

No fear.  No fear.  Take over here.  Dear God, please guide me through.

Bigger than me.  Bigger than me.  Dear God, but not for you.
