Show me a controlling person; I’ll show you a soul in fear,
Afraid that God doesn’t know what is going on down here.
God will calm the waters but He will also rock the boat;
He will listen to our pleas but He will have the deciding vote.
Fear is a lack of faith. Build your faith and release control.
God’s love will always prevail. Take your place and assume your role.
Show me a controlling person; I’ll show you a soul in fear,
Afraid that God doesn’t know what is going on down here.
“My prayer is to transcend fear. Replace my fear with Your love and Your light.
Cast out the disease of my spirit with Your grace and with Your might.”
Fear is a lack of faith. Build your faith with love and surrender.
“Fear not.” You will not fall. God is there and your greatest defender.
