Remedies for the Spirit

God Protects His Children

We don’t want you to cry anymore.  It hurts and grieves us so.

We want you to be happy.  There’s something you should know.

Just before it happened, we were filled with warmth and love.

We were safely whisked away to a tender place above.

We felt no pain.  We did not suffer and we truly weren’t afraid.

You see, our spirits went home early, though our physical bodies stayed.

Some things we cannot fathom nor begin to comprehend.

“God protects his children, even at the end.”
