Remedies for the Spirit

God Protects His Children

I don’t want you to cry anymore.  It hurts and grieves me so.

I want you to be happy.  There’s something you should know.

Just before it happened, I was filled with warmth and love.

I was safely whisked away to a tender place above.

I felt no pain.  I did not suffer and I truly wasn’t afraid.

You see, my spirit went home early, though my physical body stayed.

Some things we cannot fathom nor begin to comprehend.

“God protects his children, even at the end.”
